The global food supply chain has become increasingly complex, providing ample opportunity for food fraud and adultery. Fraudulent claims of organic produce, wild caught seafood, or grass-fed meat are impossible for consumers to detect once a product is on a shelf. As customers become more concerned with how and where their food was made, disingenuous suppliers intentionally mislabel products to increase profit. Shed light on this, our company uses a fast and cost-efficient scientific method of stable isotope analysis to confirm food attributes and labels, providing a reliable pathway for customers to rest assured the identity of food products.
